Bro. Jerzy Kuzma, Divine Word Missionary (SVD), invite us to visit Papua New Guinea – one of evergreen islands on the South Pacific which is home for bird of paradise. Being both specialist general and orthopedic surgeon, Bro. Jerzy fulfills his missionary vocation serving the sick. Caring also for those living in the most remote corners of PNG, bro Jerzy invites you up the river Ramu on bush medical patrol. Virgin tropical flora is contrasted by the bare poverty of local people. We witness heartbreaking scenes where
there are no help because of lack of basic resources.
Then we move back with bro. Jerzy to the operating theatre in Madang Hospital. Bro Jerzy, who is the only orthopaedic surgeon in Momase region with 1.5 million people, has a dream to organize an orthopaedic ward to save many Papuan children from lifelong disability.
